Come to class and build a group despacho. You will have an opportunity to put in your hopes, dreams, intentions and gratitudes. These will be blown into materials from nature and other symbolic objects. This bundle will later be burned - releasing your prayers and gratitude to the cosmos.
Building a despacho is a practice based on tradition from the Andes - offering gratitude to the mountains, the great mother (Pachamama) and other nature spirits. It brings focus and reminds us of our connection to all living energy. This is a ceremony created with love - which brings us in alignment with our goals and intentions returning us to harmony and balance. It is done as a form of Ayni or reciprocity.
You will leave class with a handout and experience to support you in making despachos at home for yourself and others.
